Hey everyone, got the s6 edge today. Was playing with the camera indoors and comparing to the iPhone 6 and came across a huge problem. In low light the Samsung is over saturating the rug and floor and getting no detail. It is smoothing the image out horribly while the iPhone looks natural. If looks like the rug is getting the beauty feature applied. Can anyone see what i am taking about and help? In light it is great but this is just embarrassing. Thanks!

it is the stabilization feature. try turning down the ISO and the exposure and it should help!

Is there a way to turn off the stabilization? I tried what you recommended and it slightly improved it

The stabilisation for pics is mechanical (OIS) and therefore can't be disabled. You wouldn't want to even if you could.
Video has both OIS (mechanical) and EIS (software) stabilisation. Only EIS can be disabled.
