So I've had the S7 since release day. I'm not convinced they have the kinks worked out.
My only real issue is with the actual telephony. Namely, if I'm on a call, one end of the call will randomly cut out -as if- it were muted (but it's not muted). It's rare, but not rare enough. Usually it's a case where we're talking, I don't even touch the phone, and suddenly I can hear the other party, but they cannot hear me. Occasionally, it's the reverse situation, and they can hear me, but I can't hear them.
This happened again today, on a call made -right- after an update and a fresh reboot. (Fresh Samsung patch today...) We were speaking, and suddenly they could not hear me. I didn't even touch the phone.
I've tried manipulating the phone, switching to speaker and back (or off speaker and back, if I started on speaker), to no avail. Same with BT headset, if I'm on headset. It's happened on speaker, regular mic, and headset, so there's no common factor in terms of a setting for sound source ─ and I certainly can't control when the other side cuts out (which is less frequent).
No reason to think it's the carrier, as my S4 never did it, and I always have five bars here.
Galaxy S7 SM-G930T
T-Mobile
Android 6.0.1
Baseband version G930TUVS3APD8
Kernel 3.18.20-7856276
Build number MMB29M.G930TUVS3APD8
(It's done this on the last three releases, though. However many there have been since launch, which sounds about right...say four releases total?)
Any ideas?
