Hi,

I have a Samsung S9 when I am on a call and press the speaker, I can, hear them but they can't hear me.
They are not muted, and the mic works on voice recorder.

I am using the Samsung Phone App that came with the phone.
Where would I check to see if it been disabled in the settings somehow.

Everything is updated.

Regards,
Gaz

Welcome to AC

Check Samsung members app for diagnostics utilities to test speakers and mic , on newer Samsung its in device care but yours probably still in Samsung members app

Go to app info for your dialer app in your phone settings and under permissions make sure that permissions needed for it are not denied, like microphone.

Hi,

Thanks for all the replies and welcomes :)

It to have been a dirty mic 2, which is the top mic on the S9

Which out found out when, I ran Samsung members app tests (Thanks mustang7757 didn't know that app was a thing).

It would pick up on mic 1 ok, but mic 2 at the top, unless I shouted, so cleaned it out and it working better now.

I made a test call and they could hear me ok.

Regards,
Gaz
