Galaxy Tab S8, S8 plus and Ultra orders.

Checked my Ultra order today, order confirmed Feb 16 with expected delivery April 15, now expected April 29. Sigh, LOL, slipped by 2 weeks.

You had me go look at mine lol. I ordered the s22 ultra sky blue on the 16th with date of April 8 but it is wierd your tab s8 ultra went to a later date. I ordered the ultra on Feb 25 and it still says April 8 same as phone. Wierd. I hope it comes sooner for both of us.
 
I originally ordered on 2/9 for graphite 256gb S22U and S8 with delivery date of 3/8 for the phone and I can't remember date for the tablet. Ended up cancelling and on 2/16 re-ordering S22U in Black 512gb and S8+ with 256gb. My phone arrived on 2/24 and the S8+ is scheduled for 3/25. My wife ordered on 2/10 for Red 512gb and S8. Phone is still scheduled for 3/8 although it's still being "created" and her tablet won't show up till 4/8.

Seems Samsung did not anticipate the demand for these devices. I understand with the chip shortage things are a bit stretched.
 
I ordered Feb 15th and mine shows backordered, shipping until April 6th. I wish I had ordered it the first day.
 
Has anyone had issues with trade in?

I got an email earlier this week stating my trade in didn't meet the requirements and I would be charged $600! They sent pictures of "damage " to the S7+ I sent in. I tried to see what they were talking about. I blew up the pics and could not se anything. It also said the device would not power on. I had the exact problem with a watch 3 trade in a few months ago. The pics they sent with that clearly showed no damage and the screen was on.

I called Samsung to dispute. They toms me I would heat back in 3 business days on their decision. Once I told them I had pictures and videos of the device with no damage and showing it was reset and powers up as required, the tone of the rep changed. I also told them from the moment I took it out of the box I had a screen protector and a rugged case on the tablet and it had never been dropped.
I just got an email today that I would not be charged back. Wow. Go figure. Suddenly there is no damage and my device meets all requirements.

Anyone getting problems like this! And if you are reading this thinking of a trade in, be sure to take.pictures and videos. It will save you hundreds of dollars with your evidence. And the wwatch was not charged back either! Lol.

At least I can now keep my S8 ultra tablet. I'm loving the big screen!

Good to know! Mine went through without a problem. Fingers crossed I get the same result with my Note 20 trade in.

That's actually awful. My account still says "arriving 25th February", not exactly helpful.

It's supposed to come by March 11th... If it was April 29th, I'd cancel.

I did get the same email yesterday. I traded in an iPad Pro 11 and they said I didn't send in an iPad Pro 11. However, the Pic they sent clearly shows the square camera cutout of an iPad Pro. So when I called and explained, they said they'll take care of it. This afternoon they sent me a note to inform me I won't be charged back and the trade in is complete.
 
Every year you hear stories of how some users trade-ins were declined even though there was nothing wrong with the device. Usually a call or chat with a support rep clears it up. Happened to me last year when I traded in my Active Watch 2. They claimed it wasn't the correct device and sent me a blurry picture of what looked like a watch and another of just a blue towel. It got resolved quickly but it's just a big waste of everyone's time.
 
So... I got notification last week that my Keyboard has shipped. The tracking say it should be delivered today. Imagine my surprice when I checked this morning and Samsung hasn't even sent it to fedex!!!!

Its like they have never had a promo or sold phones and accessories before!

My charging brick "shipped " yesterday for delivery on the 10th... yeah. Right.

No matter what I do, no matter how I do everything correctly to meet the terms and conditions, Samsung always find a way to **** it up!

My watch 4 I sent for repairs is out for delivery back to me. Old army acronym. FJG. Even though the problem on the repair ticket was not what I told them. The needed to talk to me. I tried and begged for over 5 hours to talk tto them. But, since I gave them no response, they sent my watch back no fault found (FJG) .

It is nor March 7 5pm. Supposed to be delivered in 2 hours but when i ask fedex for information they say contact the shipper because they don't have it yet! I shouldn't have to freaking beg for what I pay for!

I ordered on Feb 16 (with my S22 Ultra) and my keyboard is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Originally it was supposed to come April 1, so great. However, my Tab S8 Ultra, which had a delivery date of April 15 is now April 29!

I won't get this for a while! lol

Yes but I ordered it through Bestbuy. Samsungs delivery times were too long.

Yes, I received mine on Feb. 24. The keyboard case is out for delivery from Fedex today and the 45w charger is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

My keyboard case for my S8 will be here tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get the stand-up case for it next week.
 
I ordered my 256gb through Samsung on the first day. After a couple days delay I did get mine on Feb 24. I also just received my keyboard and my charging brick today. I have to say, the keyboard adds some heft to the thing! Lol. But I love it. Its just like the keyboard I got with my S7+. I am satisfied with them both. Haven't opened the charger box. But it seems rather heavy as well.

I agree about the keyboard cover adding some heft to it. Feels solid though. I like the fact that the s-pen stows inside the cover. The only thing I would have liked is the ability to open it and use the keyboard without having to use the kickstand at all. Kinda like the magic keyboard for the ipad.
