Has anyone had issues with trade in?
I got an email earlier this week stating my trade in didn't meet the requirements and I would be charged $600! They sent pictures of "damage " to the S7+ I sent in. I tried to see what they were talking about. I blew up the pics and could not se anything. It also said the device would not power on. I had the exact problem with a watch 3 trade in a few months ago. The pics they sent with that clearly showed no damage and the screen was on.
I called Samsung to dispute. They toms me I would heat back in 3 business days on their decision. Once I told them I had pictures and videos of the device with no damage and showing it was reset and powers up as required, the tone of the rep changed. I also told them from the moment I took it out of the box I had a screen protector and a rugged case on the tablet and it had never been dropped.
I just got an email today that I would not be charged back. Wow. Go figure. Suddenly there is no damage and my device meets all requirements.
Anyone getting problems like this! And if you are reading this thinking of a trade in, be sure to take.pictures and videos. It will save you hundreds of dollars with your evidence. And the wwatch was not charged back either! Lol.
At least I can now keep my S8 ultra tablet. I'm loving the big screen!
