Gameloft has officialy added support for the EVO 4G!!!

then again you would THINK that gameloft is aware of the performance issues with their android hd games, and possibly OPTIMIZE them, instead of leaving them as is.

You would hope so. I actually did see differences in Dungeon Hunter between the Pre and Evo version. Not only is the character selection menu different, but so are the textures and lighting. The Pre version, hate to say it, has nicer lighting and textures (more detailed), so I guess maybe that was their way of optimizing it, by reducing image quality?

Bought nova for evo even though i already owned it for pre. Not saying it has a consistently low frame rate but it definitely has fits of choppyness every ten seconds or so. I think if the pre had a bigger screen id have returned the evo already

Edit: just tried nova again for arguments sake and its even worse than I remembered. I get it when you say its not optimized for our phones but all that means is we are paying a premium to get sh!tty ports

Why not, why dont they put them on the market?
Because the Market allows refunds within 24 hours of purchase. Gameloft's policy is no refunds, period. The Market also allows you to access your purchases from new devices, and Gameloft's policy is one purchase, one installation.

nova runs fine on my evo no worse then it did on the pre with super kernel. gangstar seems to run better though on the evo.where the hell is nfs shift from ea its way past June 4th

Gameloft has changed their policy to redownload a game to the same device in case it got wiped, however that has not been implemented yet.
