Wiped the caches and downloaded the vm patch and now the phone is stuck on the htc screen???

What else did you flash? Did you also flash the 1.0.6 ROM at the same time or did you do the ROM and the patch separate?

Not sure... I did it over 1.0.6 without a problem. Pull the battery and power your phone back on. Does the phone go past the HTC screen?

Did you delete the BAMF_Extras folder from your SD card prior to flashing the ROM???

I didn't delete the extras because all I flashed was the patch. The ROM was already there.

Now I'm confused... because you said:

Do you just flash the patch in CWM? Can you go straight from 1.0.1 to 1.0.6?

1.0.6 is NOT a patch... it is the full ROM.

The patch was meant for 1.0.6. Its not been tested on older versions.

Well I guess I just tested that for you, it does not work. Fatboy- I was just asking about the ROM I didn't flash it, only the patch.

Yeah I just didn't have time last night or this morning to do all that. I just wanted to get her VM fixed quickly. I had to restore through CWM to an earlier date. I'll delete the extras folder tonight and flash 1.0.6 and then reflash the VM patch.

Any way to change the circle lock? I'm a school administrator and I'm waiting to have to either explain what BAMF means or get the "hey, I know what that means" look from someone.

Mine went away by changing the lock screen.

First one is a "stock" (plain) lock ring that works with BAMF Forever 1.0.6. I have not tested it personally, but judging by the posts on the thread, it works just fine.

Just download and install via Recovery, no wipe needed.

Lots of people say that just after they find these great ROMs... and this ROM is fairly new... but the GREAT developers have been developing some great stuff around here for a long time... and Das BAMF is one of the best for Sense ROMs.

Adrynalyne hasn't released a custom kernel because HTC hasn't released the source code for GB yet. You can use this in the meantime: [Kernel] [GB Sense] leanKernel: minimalistic kernel (3.7.1GBtest, 9/13/11))

Excuse the NOOB question.....Has anyone verified that there is no issues using this Kernel with Das BAMF Forever 1.0.6 or should I just wait to see if a new kernel is released? I have never flashed a kernel and am very nervous about it. Just got brave enough to root yesterday. I just want to see if I can overclock my TB.

I've used it (I think there's actually an updated version now). It works just fine, a lot of folks use it with 1.0.6. Nothing to be nervous about, but for me personally, even with no OC options, the stock kernel just works much better. Others have had different results

To answer your second question, no, you cannot OC any other way.

I'm using Imos kernel 3.7 with no problems on Bamf 1.0.6. About to update to 3.8.
