Hello folks. The successor to uber bamf has arrived. I apologize on behalf of the team for delays. Despite being super busy with that thing called real-life, there are some other experimental projects being looked into. Due to this, the rebase took longer than expected, especially when erishasnobattery left it to me

BAMF Forever 1.0.7

Samuel and RCMIX team, for giving erishasnobattery permission to use their resized Sense 3.0. Constantly resizing really wears a guy down.
thatjondude for the edits to the dropdown notifications. While in the test it looked cool, it broke EVERY theme out there.

This ROM is based off of:
2.11.605.0 with some lib alterations from the Dinc2.
HTC Sensation ROM version 1.45.401.2
HTC Desire HD ROM version 3.06.405.1

Mod base versions that will work fine with this ROM:
2.10.605.1, 2.11.605.0, 2.11.605.2

Reboot options, including screenshot feature from our resident bad ***, ihtfp69

All of the typical bamf UI tweaks you have grown to love, plus one more. I will keep that a surprise
Fully working HTC Sense Hub
Overglow animations(1.0.1)
Redraw fix (1.0.1)
Battery percentages from uber with the cool red lightning bolt (1.0.1)
Bugs SHOULD be minimal, but please report what you find

What you will NOT find in features:

No claims to fastest or most stable rom ever. No cocky devs here. Those who make claims to such are liars
No guarantee that this rom is bug free

Instructions to install:

You MUST delete the BAMF_Extras folder under your sd card prior to installation
You MUST wipe on the first install, and possibly future versions of this rom
Download from the URL below
Copy to sd card
Reboot to recovery, and install from zip
DON'T FORGET TO WIPE!
Optional: Post your review

Things planned for the future:

Fix the speed dial 2 bug
Modify art work, and fix default items listed on home screens on clean install
Fix bugs as we can

Known Issues
Sometimes calls cannot be answered. See Approved mods section for possible workaround
Mobile Data widget under HTC Settings widgets does not work.

Back to the original BAMF Forever MMS app version. It may not delete entire inboxes in one swoop, but its better overall

First thing this isn't my work and not taking credit for designing this fix...

Since the original patch from Uber BAMF didn't work on this build I decided to play around with files from a number of roms that the Mobile Hotspot worked and was able to figured out the working file combo to get this to work on BAMF Forever..

Here is a working flash that has been verified to work on BAMF Forever, flash this with Bootstrap Recovery and this will get the stock Mobile Hotspot working.

If I switch from gingeritis 3D do I do a factory, dalivick and cache wipe in CWM, then just flash?

Question.... what does this fix??? Is this just for people that use the Verizon service, or does it fix something in the built in hotspot that allows free hotspot for users???

Yes. If you're worried, do a nand backup first

I just put Forever 1.0.1 about an hour ago and noticed 1.0.2 is already up. Do I need to wipe the data and cache before getting 1.0.2 or can I just install the 1.0.2 zip file in Recovery mode and have all my stuff still intact?

By the way, using NFL Mobile on 1.0.1 and works flawlessly!

Wow... that fix came quickly... I'd wipe cache and Dalvik cache, but I don't think you need to wipe data... at least that is how I'm going to install it in a couple minutes.

Do you mind posting after doing so? I've been messing with a lot of ROMs lately since I'm new to the rooting game, and getting a little tired of setting up my phone with each new ROM, haha. The Android dev community is incredible, and can't get enough of it!

Just installed with no problems... after reading the main post:

New users MUST WIPE prior to install. 1.0 users do not.

But I've done this before with minor updates going with the same ROM just changing versions... just wipe cache, wipe Dalvik cache, then install Zip from your SD card... no reinstalling apps... it works just fine.

This just allows the stock Verizon hotspot to work instead of looping or locking up device up when ran.
