It did work in 1.0.7 but I'm on 1.0.9 with the new HTC Amaze camera and effects don't work.

Shoulda stayed with 1.0.7 methinks.

Don't understand the reasoning behind always flashing the latest. Let everyone else be guinea pigs, meh...

I'm not sure what this HTC Amaze camera is, but I just tested an effect on my camera that comes with 1.0.9 and it worked just fine.

He's talking about applying effects to a picture that is already taken. Long pressing a picture and selecting effects force closes the gallery. This was fixed in 1.0.7 but layer broken in.8 which used the camera from the HTC amaze (zero shutter lag, some other cool features, but also had a lot of bugs). .9 switched us to the double shot camera which also has zero shutter lag but looks a bit more like the stock camera. The camera from the amaze is supposed to be one of the best Android cameras out there (we're talking about software), I hope it makes a return.

As far as effects go, go back to .7 or use something like pic say pro.

1.07 is an older version and isn't active it looks like. I would use 1.10....that is the most stable. I tried 1.11 and it was a little wonky.

I don't care what kernel you use 1.10 is laggy. 1.07 is better. If you don't mind the lag 1.10 is fantastic, best rom around. I just couldnt tolerate the lag.

I have been on 1.09 forever. I tried 1.10 and it too was laggy for me. I flashed back to 1.09 and it's perfect. Everything works as if it was OEM.

I have no desire to try anybody else's ROMs as I need functionality over aesthetics.

When ICS finally leaks and fully working ROMS are built, I'll head there. But for now, 1.09 works great for my TBolt.

'Crop', 'left' and 'right' rotation works. 'Effects' crashes it.
