I'm at school and in my first period I get 0-1 bar of signal. But literally the second I walk out the door it jumps to 3-4 is it the building

Here is a pic

Happens with just about every single device that is out on the market, Android phones, iOS phones, just to name a few. When ever your inside a building, signal will always decrease due to the interference in the building that you are in. It's not just you. It's everyone that has a cell phone.

Either that or the walls are made of lead.

But seriously, yea it's the simple rule of cell phones, when your outside (most of the time) you should get a good signal, inside, the radio waves are weaker since they just went through solid wall. Maybe sit next to a window?
