Genius Button....Anyone Actually Use It ?

I had a BlackBerry a while back that had vlingo on it which essentially did the same thing as the Genius button. From the BB I went to the LG Optimus V for 2 years and missed those features. Now, I have a brand-spanking-new myTouch 4G. Part of the selling point for me was this Genius button. It's just one of those things... once you get used to it, you can't (or don't want to) live without it!

I've got an HTC Mytouch 4G, also called the HTC Glacier. Every time I even TRY pressing the Genius Button, it says, "Please Wait," and then I get a pop-up that reads:

"Genius Button is voice-activating the names from your Contact List."

It never seems to finish this little task, and so I've never been able to use the damn thing.

Absolutely, everyday I use it. what the manual doesn't tell you is that there is a car mode. in that mode, it will answer your texts for you, send texts, make phone calls, answer phone calls (originally puts it on speaker phone and you can change that anytime if you want by turning speakerphone off (some apps wont allow you to change it and some apps wont answer in speaker)...all without touching a thing....all by voice. you wake it up by voice too. Iit reads your texts to you and then it types back what you say in response. Just like talking on the phone. Its awesome. wanted to know how you add genius button as a widget though. How do I do that????....in my opinion there is not an app out there that does all of that.

Also if you add Genius Button as a widget, you can turn it on to "take over" your texts and bluetooth commands until you turn it off.

so, how do you add it as a widget????
