I just called the 3 stores closest to me and they each said the promo they have in stores is for $150 off the Gear S2 and a $300 trade in for my S6.

Did anyone get a location code when you ordered online from verizon? I'd like to compare to what is apparently the xfinity verizon portal location code of E184001. I wonder if buying through xfinity with likely a different location code disqualifies from the samsung VR/S2 offer. Some people on another forum called xfinity and they said to get the free watch you need to order directly on verizonwireless.com.

When I bought a phone last year on verizon online the receipt had E248201.

I'm curious as well, I ordered via the phone number on the xfinity website and my location code is Q251101. I am planning on trying to submit regardless and since guaranteed $200gc vs not being 100% certain on getting watch I have no plans on changing order method.

I ordered online on Friday, not realizing there's a chance I won't get my phone in time to register for the limited supply S2.

I really hope that the "Limited time only, while supplies last." part doesn't bite us all in the arse. The only reason I'm upgrading from my Galaxy S5 is to get the Gear S2 and a phone that doesn't have stupid chrome trim. Without the watch, the deal's no good to me.

Hmm, I'm getting worried about this location code. I did mine over the phone as I stated before and the Screenshot from ProMed above shows VZW.com/Phone, but my location code is X088601...Haven't seen any other X****** numbers out there.

Have no fear. I also ordered over the phone and my location code is X476201.

I was trying out the online form to see what options are presented and web & phone orders go into the same options.

I assume there's no way of getting that info from Verizon before actually receiving the phone?

You can get the IMEI from your order status, but the MAC address is only on the phone as far as I know. Haven't found it in any Verizon references.

What does your location code start with, did you order online or via phone? There was no info on registration page requesting location code unless they took it off invoice you uploaded...... which would seem extremely quick turnaround time.

Hey man I had the same issue, what you need to do is find the email you received from Verizonwireless.com when you first Pre Ordered your phone and attach that as a jpeg It needs your Location code, your name and order date.

I attached a picture of the receipt that came with in the box with the phone, will that be ok? It also asked for purchase date (2-29) which was different than the order process date (3-6) which is on that receipt, so I put the date I actually purchased?

I never got an email for my order, I hope I get the receipt in the box. Not that it'll matter by the time I get my phone tomorrow night, I'm sure the 35,000 pre-orders were received and registered for the S2 by now. I really don't care for a VR if even those are left. If I had known it would be a race down to the minute I would have tried to pay for 1-day shipping.

Don't use the receipt within the box. it most likely wont work, you will likely get that message saying you're not eligible. Put the date you actually purchased.

Submitted for S2 the other day, hopefully I get it since submitted a little late from Verizon not releasing the S7 as early as two other carriers. And I actually want the S2 to replace my Gear Fit as opposed to others that just want it to resell it. Loving the S7 so far!
