I submitted my receipt on 3/11/16 requesting one gear s2 and one vr since we had purchased two phones. I have noworked received an email stating "Your submission has been approved; however because the
purchase receipt you uploaded denotes an in-store and/or online business
purchase, you are only eligible to receive the Samsung Gear VR with 6-game
bundle." The promotion was only online through Verizon! I had to order online specifically to get the Gear s2 and vr. I am so not happy about this!

So I wanted to get the Gear S2, I got my approval notice today and it looked like this. So I had to buy my phone somewhere other than the store or online to get the watch? Really? What a ripoff! I ordered online first day preorders were available and submitted 2 weeks ago and selected Gear S2 when I got my phone.

I got the same email. I ended up purchasing in store. I mentioned the watch promotion to the Verizon rep and he assured me I could still get the watch since it was after the pre-order period. I got confirmation I'm receiving the Gear VR. I don't have interest in it. I suppose I will email my verizon rep and see if he'll allow me to switch it for the watch? I doubt it, but my other option is to return the phone and re-order online. Is the promotion still valid? This stinks.

I doubt it and at this point they will like "run out" of the S2 by time you get through to anyone who knows what is going on. I have a full time job and a 10 month old at home, I don't have time to be sitting around playing VR games. Ha.

I got the same email about being approved for gear VR instead of S2 due to not being an online purchase. I got through to prize logic and they said lots of people are having this problem and they will resolve it in a couple hours. She assured me my location code was valid.

I have tried to call the Customer Service number on the email and it continues to say all circuits are busy. I am now calling Samsung directly to figure this out. I specifically went through Verizon to buy my phone because of this promotion, I could have easily paid less at Target.

Finally got through to Prizelogic. They are saying the emails were sent in mistake and they showed I would be receiving a Gear S2. Probably will end up with the damn Gear VR, but that's the line they are giving to people calling in...

I received my 3 S7's on March 7, made my claim online with all proper documentation, received an email from Samsung on the 8th confirming my submission. Today, I received the same email that others are getting. I think it was, for the most part, a scam. Why do I say this? Because, Samsung was still accepting orders for the Gear S2 many, many days after I submitted my claim...if they were out, why keep accepting "orders"? Our company has been in business for over 50 years, we would not have made it this far pulling stunts like this. I have been on the phone with Verizon (of course they claim it's Samsung's fault), they are trying to work something out..but, short of that, I will switch to someone else...on principle alone.

In the rules I read, there was nothing in there stating that a business was only eligible get the VR... And Samsung acknowledged that I ordered the Gear S2, and said it was approved. I can believe that both Samsung and Verizon messed this whole Promo up, as I have seen different sets of "rules" posted. Before I ordered with Verizon, I was told, by a Verizon rep, that the 3 I ordered were eligible for the Gear S2.

And, just FYI, over on another site...people that are getting thru to PrizeLogic are stating that they are being told the emails went out in error...so who knows..lol

Mine certainly was not on a business line and others I know got the same email and don't have business accounts. From my conversations with Prizelogic, it really does appear the emails were sent in error.

i got my reply that said pending fulfilllment... today i got an email and says because im on a corporate account im not entitled to the S2 and will be receiving the VR. What a line of ****. No where in the fine print, both original and "revised" is this mentioned. Total let down on the point of Big Red and the hell with prizelogik

My status changed to Shipment Date Pending evening of 3/22 and still sitting there. No emails yet. VW ended up hosing me on the $300 trade-in of my S6, claimed "early" upgrade wasn't eligible although I saw no such limitation in their advertising and their online system let me process the trade-in. So if they send me a VR instead of the S2 I seriously might take my 4 lines and go elsewhere.

Filled both my submissions out on March 20th. One in store one online. Selected a VR and a S2 received 2 emails saying received and online they each say "Submission Approved. Preparing for Shipment. Shipping Date estimate: Pending". I have receive no other communication. Hoping I get the S2 in talking with multiple VZ people got 2 different answers on if the S2 was to be 3G or Bluetooth.... who knows. I just dont want to get 2 VRs.
