I just called in this morning to a sales rep. It was really just to ask how porting over a number (from att to verizon) would work during signing up for this deal. The rep said she could take care of all of it over the phone. I asked a handful of times about making sure I would still be eligible for the S2 and how it states it's online only, etc. She assured me over the phone was fine, that the promotion is held over at samsung and all you needed was the pre-order confirmation number.
Like some of you, I recorded the call. I asked her to put a note on file assuring eligibility for the S2, though I don't believe she did (instead just reassuring me I was). I'm a little worried, partly because I've now read this thread (thanks for that, ha!), but I feel confident that if there are any issues they will be resolved. Personally I've had a good track record of using the BBB in situations like this to get resolution, so that's where I'll be going if this falls through.
