Get a free Gear S2 with the purchase of a Verizon S7/S7 Edge

I finally received some good news after talking with prizelogic. The S2 has been sent out via FedEx and will be delivered on Monday. I guess the guy I talked with cleared it to finally be sent out. Now just waiting for the rebate Citi-Card for the second S7 Edge from Verizon.

Submitted my claim on 3/12 and no email, no tracking number, no ship date. Six weeks as of tomorrow and still tapping fingers waiting. Called them early this morning and only 4 callers ahead of me. Rep at prizelogic claims mine is ready to be shipped but their page was showing "in route" and now back to pending.

Same exact thing here. 3/12, no email, no tracking, no ship date. I called today, they said the submission had been sent off for fulfillment and that's all they could offer. I read in another forum, they're out of Gear S2s now...hope it isn't true...
 
Shane you would of had to buy it on a 24 month payment plan through Verizon. That promo is now over, BUT, you might be able to take advantage of other Promo's with them.

This is not entirely accurate. I purchased mine outright through Verizon. Payment plan was not required. That being said, the promo is over.
 
Well if I don't get my S2 AND my refund for the second S7 purchase, I'm switching from Verizon to another carrier. They have plenty of S2's on hand. They have ample supplies at Samsung and at Verizon and same with prizelogic, if that's really who is sending them out. My S2 is on fedex showing to be delivered on Monday. It's been six weeks but I was a thorn in their side with emails and phone calls, so maybe they can't wait to get me out of their hair.

The promo I saw required the S7 to be purchased on monthly payments. Others on this forum have posted they were denied the promo because they purchased the watch outright also. Perhaps your lucky and it was an oversight on their part?

Originally on the Verizon website it did say 24 month dpp but I believe it was changed as time went on to include outright purchases...

So my sister's gear came in. But it was a vr and not the watch. They are going to hear it from me on Monday unless they are open tomorrow.

I'm still waiting for mine and I submitted mine a week or two before my sister. This is nuts.
 
So I just got off the phone with prize logic. They ran out of S2 and are replacing it with the VR.
 
Contact your carrier and tell them, ask for a supervisor or manager if available. I was told they had plenty S2's to fill all requests.

I'm done with Samsung. They wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor and then finally get a transfer and I get prize logic again.

Verizon couldn't help they said to contact Samsung. Prize logic couldn't help they said to call Samsung

Samsung wont let me get to a supervisor and transfer me over to prize logic.

I submitted my phone's on March 10. There have been people after me who already received their watches.

Do I have a shot with the BBB on this? I won't take this laying down.
 
I already saw the review by the BBB and other consumer complaints websites, It's not very good. I had posted something I got from the BBB on this forum too and like others on here said, they have their thumbs where the sun don't shine. I've read that others on here called the retention department at Verizon and were told verizon will make good on their gift offers. I'd make sure that VR stays in the box for now until you get a definite answer. If your a long time loyal customer of Verizon and pay them pallet loads of money every month like I do, maybe their retention department will budge and swap that for an S2. If not you can threaten your thinking of switching carriers, and calling the BBB. Good luck with it.

I don't believe that. I could just be one of their agents not up to date with the situation. I talked to one on the phone earlier today.
 
Well, according to FedEx, I have something coming from USP Fulfillment in Rancho Cucamonga CA. I hope it's my watches, but it is coming to our store..could be something else..the "fulfillment" is giving me hope though.. I know...don't get your hopes up..lol
 
There were a lot of stipulations on that promo and some people are in the same boat as you are, stuck with a VR rather than the watch. Were all those stipulations met? Others have posted they were not getting the watch because prizelogic claimed they did not meet all the promo rules. If you did meet all their rules, call prizelogic early in the morning like I did a few days ago. My watch was shipped out right after I called them. From what a few others posted in the past week, verizon will make good on the gifts if you were denied by prizelogic but did meet all the rules.

Yes I was told by prize logic multiple times that the watch was coming to me. After my sister received the VR unit, I got curious.

That is when I found out that we are longer getting watches but the VR unit.

Verizon says to call Samsung. Samsung just tells me to call prize logic. Prize logic says that they can't do anything.
 
Read the post from Kimelle regarding prizelogic and switching from the watch to the vr. They claim they will not do that.
