Get a free Gear S2 with the purchase of a Verizon S7/S7 Edge

Got off the phone with vzw and pl.
Escalated to supervisor at pl. Still nothing. Pl claimed that Samsung audited and denied me. I insisted on reason and was on hold again. Supervisor escalated one level higher and got approved for swap. We'll send back VR and should get s2 within two (2!) month. We shall see....
All in all, 2h on the phone...

Can someone please give me Prize Logic's phone number? Looks like I need to call them now too.
 
This is a very horrible situation! Verizon keeps saying this is Prizelogic's issue yet they also ran this add, got me to upgrade early so I could qualify for the S2 watches, of which I upgraded and paid off 3 phones early and did not receive what I was promised. I have 3 confirmation emails from Prizelogic stating that we all would be getting the Gear S2 watches yet they only sent 1 and 2 VR's. Now I am stuck and am getting the runaround from Verizon and Samsung and Prizelogic! Very bad!

Expect to be on hold for an hour or so and don't give up! I wish I had enough money to sue them for misrepresentation!
 
Yesterday PL (888.795.6442) said I would definitely receive a call back by end of day. Imagine my surprise when my phone didn't ring. Prize logic is now only saying they became aware of the problem in the last couple of days, and a supervisor will call you back in 24-48 hours. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said no supervisor is available. Won't move off that shtick. Verizon will not care as the people in the this particular promotion will be a minor subset of their 137 Million customers (as of Q3-2015).
 
I posted this over on the S7E thread, but I got the business acct email yesterday. I then forwarded the Verizon chat I had immediately after confirming it was an ONLINE order for a CONSUMER account to a few PL regional managers (one of which replied that he doesn't handle Samsung but forwarded it to customer support). Called PL today (somehow immediately got through) and they still show me getting 2 S2's... Time will tell I guess...
 
Does anyone know if it matters on FedEx Delivery manager of your address is ST or STREET or am I getting to specific now? Lol
 
Just got my S2 delivered. After all the funky emails telling me I was getting a VR, then an S2, then a ship date of 4/8 that came and went, it's finally here.
 
I just got an email saying an s2 will be subbed in place for a VR. Yea OK. It's a circus act with these guys.
 
I got that same email on 3/23. Called immediately that day and was assured that I would be getting the Gear S2. I also sent an email and was assured again that the Gear S2 was coming to me. Today I receive a VR. On hold with them right now waiting to talk to someone. Been on hold for 45 minutes with 8 more in front of me.

I pre-ordered through Xfinity (Verizon Link) on 3/3 and activated the phone and submitted for the Gear S2 on 3/9.

Are they "telling" you this, or are you using the status website? Try entering (type it out don't paste it) the same email address that you used when you submitted you gift claim, making sure no space before or after the info. My phone adds a space after I paste it. I had that same issue, not in database. Hopefully you'll have your brand new S2 shortly. :)

I think this is where the issue is. They told me the location code was not valid. Samsung does not count the xfinity location code as a gear s2 redemption but only a VR. I argued with them that it is an online order through Verizon still and they offered me 200 dollar e certificates for each line to use on samsungs website.

As annoyed as I am about this being the likely reason I got the VR, I tell myself it was still the logical choice to get the $200 gift card for sure vs. not knowing for sure if I'd get in on the s2 before they ran out and then get nothing. Even though the s2 was better value. Aside from that PL claimed they made a note under my email address that they would accept the s2 submission even before I bought it. PL says they have no record of that unless they didn't look hard enough but if I ever get to speak to a super I'll make that point.

Also decided to accept the $200 instead of the Gear S2. The watch (BT, not 3G) is on sale right now on samsung.com.
With our corporate perks and the sale you can get the S2 for 205 and the S2 Classic for 250. Also was able to convince VZW to chip in half the value of each watch as bill credit which will cover the out-of-pocket for the 2 watches.
I guess it all ended well (after 7659329535 call and 4293462974629944423421h on the phone ;-)).
