Have any of you had anything strange happen in front of you, your friends, family, heard things, sensed things, seen things that just didn't seem "normal"?

I've hit my head every day at training when I have moved a boat rack in so I don't hit it.

Every day.

I think something is moving it in the 2 seconds I duck under.

In all seriousness walking in the wine valley area at 2 am. It really creeps me,not sure if its ghosts or the homeless people wondering around.

About a year ago, Rick and I were sitting in the living room, just us, no animals, nobody else. We heard something hit the kitchen floor. We looked at each other and I got up to see what it was. I found a rock, the size of a small lemon in the middle of the kitchen floor. I called Rick in and we both looked at it. He said, 'someone just sent a message'. Shrug. Message received.

Last week, a picture fell off the wall. For no reason. The hanger was intact, the screw it was hanging on was still fully imbedded into the stud in the wall. I called everyone, just to make sure they were ok. :p

Lol, it happens all the time here. We're used to it. It's usually my Dad. We have a very close friend who sees spirits (he hates hospitals for that reason, it's like the Walking Dead for him). He's seen my Dad standing over me playing with my hair as I think there's a damn bug crawling around up there, lol. I have lots off stories...

Do you have any nets holding rocks up near the ceiling?

?? Signatures, shmignatures...

No, no nets of rocks. At my mother in law's one night, a light came on by itself, and it was unplugged. Witnesses who were there said, 'ok, time for us to leave'. Lol

Were you all proficient in the knowledge of Ohm's law and various up-to-date National electric codes at that time?

I'm just saying. I wasn't there for that one. But several people were. It was shortly after my father in law died.

Look, the rock was enough for me. I have zero explanation for that. None. That was hands down the most solid 3D paranormal thing that has ever happened to me.

Ok...so here is my story...

I was about 14 and I was in bed falling asleep.

I heard the doorknob turn and footsteps across the bedroom carpet. I mumbled..."Ya Mom...What"

No answer...so I the said...
Dad..?"

No answer...

I then sat bolt upright in bed and turned the light on...

And there was nobody there...

Needless to say it kind of freaked me out.

I got up and went down the hall to my parents room and both my mom and dad were sound asleep.

Maybe the cats are haunted and moved the rock. :0

No joke straight after this post ghosts were brought up
Gf: what would you so if you saw a ghost?
Me: call ghost busters
Gf: you just don't believe in them because you haven't seen one or have one on your house.
Me: have you seen one?
Gf: no but they're real.

Really creepy the timing of the topic.

I've heard footsteps upstairs when it was night and only I was home. That was in my house in California. I've heard similar noises in my Utah home. Must be one of Brigham Young's wives looking to borrow sugar. Haha I've also set down things only to have them disappear and end up in a different location. That's unnerving.

I have several railroad spikes that were found in a barn on the property that Narcisa Prentiss (Whitman) grew up in.

My dog, a 5yr old Husky/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix has been terrified by these particular railroad spikes since the day I brought him home.

When I go to my home in WA and take my dog with me, he becomes extremely agitated as soon as he walks past the part of the house the railroad spikes are stored in.

Once in the house, he immediately goes to the closet door were I have the railroad spikes stored and will growl and bark with his hair standing tall.

He will not stay in the house by himself, nor will he leave my side while I'm in the house.

In addition to my dogs odd behavior, there is a very large (12' wide x 6' high) mirror in the master bath that is hung on the wall separating the closet I store the railroad spikes in and the master bath. I have had this mirror rehung on many occasions because it somehow comes loose and will fall forward until it comes to rest on the soffit that houses the hvac ducts.

I'm not one to get all caught up in freaky things but I have no explanation whatsoever as to why my dog behaves the way he does over 5 simple railroad spikes.

Circled in the pic are the offending railroad spikes. ...obviously, my cat is not the least bit bothered by them.

Thanks for that post and pic.
I've gotta say, if it wasn't for your cat looking so calm, I'd be a little spooked right now, lol.

Cats are more likely to bargain with the ghosts to find ways to destroy you. Your cat's lack of concern really just adds to the terror. What is he planning?
