anyone able to update their prl or profile today? i'm getting error code 1012.

wondering if they're having issues and that's why there's no update yet.

I was able to do both just minutes ago, but still no update.

I called Sprint to complain again and they offered to send me a replacement EVO with old firmware. They sounded like they KNOW there is no fix comming otherwise I assume they wouldn't spend the money to send me another EVO. All I have to say is thank god! Maybe everyone should call and complain... Just sayin...

Just called my local Sprint store, they said that the update is rolling out in sections so the servers aren't overloaded.

Of the 3 forums I look at, there has yet to be a person who has gotten the "fix". A section must be 3 people at a time.

Have you tried rebooting Your phone?
If not? Do a reboot and then try updating again.

At least the ROM developers tell you what the main bugs are before you flash the ROM. I have run just about every ROM out there on my EVO and don't recall a single one of them that had as many issues as this GB update has. Sure there are the BETA ROMs but those are expected to be full of bugs. However, there are so many solid non-BETA ROMs out there that just work! It's nice to have options...

no go, they had trouble activating this new evo when i got it, especially getting data services, so it may have something to do with that.

beginning to think i'll end up with a 3rd new evo soon! :/

Currently installing OTA update in Southern California. It says System Upgrade 4.24.651.1 (6.07 MB)

EDIT: update installed. Took about 10 mins, so it's a quick one. Not sure what was changed, but I'm assuming NetFlix will now work again? Unfortunately, I don't use it, but that's what I've been reading =)
