Yep, mine is fixed too...The 'compass' is a service used by other apps, such as Google Maps and Google Sky Map. It was broken by the initial Gingerbread update. The maintenance release seems to have fixed it on my 2 Evos. Can anyone else confirm?
I had no issues with the first update, beside no Netflix, but everyone had that. No complaints. Now after the updated update, I still have no Netflix. Now I'm pissed. And I usually don't have any gripes, I just watch the forum and laugh at everyone else b#tch and moan. Now its not so funny.:'(

Looks like I lost my data connection after the update, network errors when trying to do anything
Rebooting fixed data issue and the compass is now working![]()
Updated about 8 AM Eastern (standard, daylight? Heck if I know). Went well. Have the cute traffic widget mentioned on another thread. Will play today and see if there's anything different.anyone able to update their prl or profile today? i'm getting error code 1012.

just did my update and no issues. luckily, I never deleted my Netflix app and streaming is working again.
the official Netflix app was in the market yesterday, but is gone now.
