I turned off my Wi-Fi and Mobile Data connection last night before bed (as I always do to keep from being interrupted by random notifications while still receiving emergency calls and texts). When I turned on Wi-Fi and Data in the morning, I received a pop-up notice that an update was available and to click OK or Cancel. I clicked Cancel because I needed to use my phone during my morning rush to check e-mails etc. Then I went to home screen and noticed the new app drawer icon. It looks like they applied the update to my phone anyway even while data was turned off. I checked the Software Update option and it shows the update was successfully applied to my phone at 2:10 AM. When I checked for new updates, nothing was available, so I guess I received the full update.
I did notice that the "Settings / Call / Voicemail service" option had been reset from Google Voice to My Carrier and I had to manually change it back to Google Voice. Perhaps that's part of the voice mail notification problem that some are seeing?
