Dont want to sound like a complete idiot, but how do I run adb and su. I opened a command prompt but not sure on how to put the commands in. sorry.

Windows to linux transitition?

Being how easy this is, and being that Im a windows user, I know, I know, Im about to swich to linux. So with that in mind, I have a to part question;

1) are there any reprecutions in roming my phone with windows, then roming with linux?

2)is there a preference as to what version of linux is better for roming and whatnot?

Well I ran this properly but how can I tell if im rooted?
The program said I was rooted and would reboot but it didnt. And I downloaded a root check app that denies im rooted as well. I'll keep trying but any help would be awesome.
