Glass Screen Protectors that work with Fingerprint Sensor?

I have the zagg one. I like it, fingerprint works good, however it is "hybrid glass". It is not as hard as glass (more flexible) but definitely a lot sturdier than TPU.

Ok that's what I was wondering! I just like that they put it on for you. I do know on Zagg website they show 3 different ones. Last time I showed the guy a 25% off coupon I had and he knocked off 5 or 10 bucks. I'm mad cause I just had one finally put on my S10 plus not too long ago a few months back and the top corners are a mess and I am hoping the case I am going to use doesn't mess this one up. I just called my Zagg Kiosk he doesn't have then yet but when I went online to look for the number something popped up 20% off and I put in my email. I did find a 25% off code hopefully he will match it.

For the installation, do you put down a liquid adhesive between the glass protector and your glass screen?

Nope. It's just the glass protector. I will say this, it installed perfectly no bubbles even around the edges and it feels great. Unfortunately it seems you have to use at least 3 fingerprint scans for one thumb to get it to work as it should.

Hmm, so what holds the glass protector to the screen? is there some kind of adhesive on the back of the glass protector? Or, is it held in place simply by surface traction?

Yes an adhesive, similar to the TPU ones I suppose?

After one week tested all glass screen protector on Amazon. I've concluded all of them have trouble reading fingerprints scanner.

Edit. S21 PLUS

I've been using this cheap glass one from Amazon and fingerprint has been working fine on first try.
I do get the occasional "press harder" or to make sure fingerprint is covering the scanner, but then works (am guessing it's because I'm coming from S10e, where just barely lighty tapping the sensor unlocked it lol).

First experience with an on-screen scanner, so far so good, two days in.

Easy to install.
It only includes one protector, so make sure to get it right.

Just got my phone today, and I got my Spigen screen protector earlier than expected so I was able to install it. Overall I am pleased. More detailed points:

1. You only get one shot at getting it right and I found it tricky, so I had to be extremely careful.
2. Spreading out the liquid was sort of tough. I placed the tray on a level surface but the liquid didn't spread into the top left corner even after three minutes, so I had to manually work it there.
3. There was a bubble just under the camera, and I had to manually work this out too. When I started curing with the UV light there was still a visible bubble that I hadn't been able to remove, but it seems to have gone away after curing.

Basically, this screen protector is worth it and looks great, but you have to be very meticulous when you're doing the application.

If you would like to consider a non glass screen protector this is sooper awesome, works great with fingerprint sensor on the s21 !

Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector Designed for Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I have used this one on a couple other previous phones, for example i used it on my note 10+ for 2 years, and ive dropped my phone on a hard surfaces quite a few times and yet when i peeled off the protector to send my phone back for trade in there was not one scratch on the screen surface of the phone ! And i did not even have any problem with any bubbling or screen protector peel or dust getting under it = sooper Awesome !

s21 ultra here. I'm using amfilm, same issues as my note 10 plus . it's hit or miss with Reading my fingerprint.

I tried the spigen on my s21+ and it rendered the fps inoperable. I tried the dome glass with my s10+ and that didn't work either. I'm convinced with this fps you simply have to accept going with no screen protector.

From this forum postings and the reviews on Amazon, it seems the glass screen protectors on the S21s is a hit or miss for the FPS. As such, I'm reluctant to try any of the available glass screen protectors and opted for a TPU (film) protector. The one I'm using feels smooth and I don't even notice it and seems to protect from scratches. FPS works perfectly. However, I don't think it will offer much protection from a crack screen due to dropping my phone.

I may be in the minority, but I went Whitestone and my fingerprint works everytime on my 21 Ultra, installed protector, registered fingerprint, no problems using.

I managed to get it to work on my S10+ but there were definitely times that it would give me issues, my 21 Ultra on the other hand has worked everytime since I put the Whitestone on.

Spigen glass that installs with the loca and uv works great and is only 29.99 off Amazon. I think whitedome has got some serious competition finally

Spigen has done it no more Whitestone for me. These cost me 29.99 and Whitestone is 80 for a pair and the installation is rather easy. For anyone looking for installation videos flossy does a great installation video on this on this screen protector. https://youtu.be/pO1x3NzEqFg

Around the 15 minute mark

I've never used Whitestone Dome before and was thinking about using it this time. But now I hear cheaper glass screen protectors might work with the FPS, so I'm curious what works for the rest of you guys. I've got some time to think about it since I ordered the black 512 GB ultra, which is arriving mid-February.

BTW, apparently Spigen has their own version of Whitestone Dome now!?

Anyone seen this or used it on a Note 20 Ultra (it's available for that phone right now)? I never order directly from Spigen since their direct sales are more expensive, but if this shows up on Amazon for something in the $40 range, I may try it out!

I am using it now. Touch and fingerprint works great!
