Glass Screen Protectors that work with Fingerprint Sensor?

I swear I've spent more money trying to save money from whitestone that I should've just got theirs lol. Just tried the zagg d30 and don't care for it. So screw it when on whitestone site and got the two pack for 52.00 after discounts. That's like what I paid for the zagg one

Haha, I read Amazon reviews but still ordered, but then saw your comments and cancelled. ABT has the single whitestone for $39 so just going that route. I have zag but not as happy with it. Spen has left marks on it

Oh really cause we have s-pens coming. We went to the Zagg Kiosk today and they just got theirs in. I mentioned 25% off online and he said they could knock off $10. I didn't realize it wasn't the $40 regular glass fusion one it was the $50 one with the anti microbial but he gave us $10 off of each so basically it was the same price as the regular glass fusion.

But he said we need to redo our fingerprints cause it's not working very well and telling us to press harder. Those who have the Zagg did you redo your fingerprint after it was put on?

I didn't redo my fingerprints...works good. Lol, maybe I pushed down to hard with s-pen..

Just got in the jig and those are some sharp ridges you have to snap your phone into. Hope this thing doesn't scratch the sides of my phone.

I have to believe that some people have deeper fingerprints which allows these screen protectors to work. My S21+ failed 30% of the time without a screen protector.

You might be on to something.

I've been so confused by this thread, since my fingerprint scanner works fine with my relatively low-cost glass screen protector.
I wonder if there's been any research done about the way the tech works with different individuals.

I have the S21 5G. Could it be that maybe the ultra has some issues with it since it's a different higher resolution screen? (Have no idea. Am just throwing any possible ideas against the wall lol)

After my experience I have to believe the performance of this reader is affected by a persons finger print “legibility”. I used the S10+ and it was terrible for me. 50% rejection rate. If it was cold and my hands were dry, it simply wouldn’t work. I had the same problem with the S21+, just a little better be jade the target area was enlarged. I just think this ultrasonic under the glass reader doesn’t like me. I had no problems with the pixel 5 or any other traditional finger print reader. Maybe my thumbs just aren’t built for the ultrasonic.

The dryer the skin the worst it will be for you, if you keep your hands lotions or you happen to be the lucky few that has a lot of moisture in your skin it tends to work better.

Welp no go on the spiegen for me. I can do the whitestone one with my eyes closed I don't even need the tray. But yeah tried the speigen one and the glue didn't spread right. I noticed the glue started adhering before any light was put on it so it stopped it from moving any further along the phone. The whitestone glue usually let's me move the protector around in the perfect spot. Eh guess I'll try again with a different one from spiegen. Or maybe use some of my whitestone leftover glue instead.

I've done Whitestone and spigens was easy on my phone and my wife's. I did notice on my phone the glue wasn't going to the lower left hand corner but since I've done so many with Whitestone all you have to do is press with a card down and the glue will eventually spread.

Got my whitestone. Works great. Lol should've just went with them in the first place instead of wasting so much money lol.
