Question Gmail accounts syncing issue

It used to show the number of emails unread in each account where I circled it. Now it doesn't show the number of unread emails. I have sync gmail on for all accounts. How do I fix this?

S25 it only shows the inbox number of emails when I switch accounts . Is that normal?

I've not seen the two numbers for each email for me separate but what I will see is if I'm in my main email app it will show all messages number and inbox number and the difference is my secondary email in this case I have one unread email in my secondary email

I get a number of all emails in each accounts but this never alerts me that I have a new one if it does once you open the app it probably goes away.

It only shows the number if I switch to another account. If I don't there's no number.

My screenshot is only thing what it shows besides the app Icon notifications, I don't know if previously with different versions how it was .

You probably had the open already and hadnt closed it.

You mean by clearing it out of ram (recent apps)?
I have tried it that way it will first be blank with no numbers then I switch account it will show 99 for all.

Maybe report your issue with Google and see what they say , for me I don't look at this so it doesn't bother me.
