no problems here.

... do you mean you're not getting emails, or not getting notifications of emails? Do you need help setting up the accounts or do you need help with the settings to get the notifications?

try this:

open gmail / menu / account setting / make sure "background data" is checked

also, if you're using "auto-sync" (which I would suggest) -- tap the account and make sure that "sync gmail" is selected.

keep us posted.

By the way, do you have multiple gmail accounts? If so, send yourself an email and see if it notifies and "pushes" correctly.

Welcome to the Droid! You might notice that I've posted about this problem recently. It seems to be fairly common... gmail stops syncing properly, requires that the data be cleared and reset. In my case, I had to do a battery pull on the phone to restore proper syncing. Hopefully better luck with the N1 or Incredible! Droid goes back next week, assuming I don't damage it in the meantime.

Your Droid is not a Blackberry!! Quit pulling the stinking battery! The ONLY time pulling the battery is appropriate is if the screen is completely unresonsive and the power button is unresponsive. A reset can be accomplished with the keypad, pressing control-alt-delete at the same time (note: control is the arrow button to the left of the Z)

A battery pull DOES NOT "restore syncing". Resetting the device may do this. And resetting the device is accompished in ways other than battery pulls. Battery pulls for no particular reason may damage the device.

Fair enough... good to know. However, let me be clear and say that the only way for me to get my gmail syncing back was to reset the phone.

I started having problems last night u can't send a email today.

What do you mean "can't send"? - are you having problems connectiing to the internet? Are you able to send and receive phone calls? Have you tried wifi connection? Are you using a gmail account?

I've been having what appears to be similiar problems with Gmail. My Gmail is being pushed very slowly to my Droid and it often requires a manual "refresh".

I was having the same problem with my droid not receiving push email. It turned out that I had stopped the google talk program from running in the background. That is the program that gets the push gmail to the phone. As soon as I turned it back on I havent had anymore problems. That was about 2 weeks ago. I hope this helps for any of you guys in the future.
