GN Release date?

At this stage I'm just backing off posting much. We're really in no different position than the past three weeks. The phone is coming in late November or in the next three weeks.

At this point we have a forum full of hearsay and conjecture.

Sadly, this is exactly how I'm feeling. I'm starting to think a December release is most likely, but who knows. Until anything concrete comes out of VZW, the rumors are just going to swirl and we're going to go continuously back and forth between late November and December.

Yeah you can include me on this as well. I think its best to just drop the anxiety and let it run its coarse at this point. Ive dealt with a horrible phone for the past two months, i can do it for a few more days. I think this whole "by Friday" rumor got me so excited that now i can relate the situation to a caffeine crash... Im so hopeless that it doesnt bother me too much...

you think you have a crappy phone, try being the schmuck who sold his amoled incredible for a Thunderbolt. Biggest mistake ever

Blackberry Curve 8330 that i got back in 08 that has a poorly functioning trackball, horrible os, freezes constantly... i gotcha beat buddy  haha

I look at all this rumor stuff as entertainment.
I go to all the major phone sites hoping to see anything on the Nexus.
Then I come to the forums for rumors.
It makes the wait bearable, and kills time. ;-D

BB Pearl here, 3.5 years, running out of spare parts for it. Trackball secured with kapton tape as the cover broke a few days ago. This thing was supposed to be retired long long ago. :)

For whatever it's worth, there is now a report of a specific store in the UK that will have the phone tomorrow morning.

Galaxy Nexus to debut at Phones 4U?s Oxford Street store tomorrow | Mobile News Online
To put it bluntly, and I mean no offence, but that's not worth much. It's a different version of the device being released in an overseas market. It has no bearing, whatsoever, on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Verizon doesn't have to worry about its customers jumping ship to UK carriers, and the number of people who would import that version of the phone and change over to a compatible US carrier is insignificant to Verizon's bottom line.

Actually customers could cancel with verizon and import that on at&t so it has a little to do with verizon since they could potentially lose some customers.

Unfortunately the price of importing would turn many off on that front. Doesnt bother me though, as i prefer to be contract free. If nothing happens in the next few days itll definitely be tough decision for me.

No offense taken. I'm well aware this has little/nothing to due with Verizon. I was just posting it as one more piece of information regarding the GN being released, whether in the US or anywhere else. That's why I said for whatever it's worth....

I am currently using a Droid Eris that won't connect to 3G or send/receive picture texts so I don't even want to hear anyone complaining about their current device.

FWIW, my wife loves her new T-Bolt. She uses it only for calls, text, FB, camera so in that sense it's great for here. Not sure what type of apps people have problems with.

Ugh. I don't have one but I am familiar. I have to perform CPR (cachemate power clear, clear dalvik cache) on my girlfriend's Eris at least 3 times a week now.
