Good news for Spen's future

This is my first S pen and it is impressive how it works and the fact they fit it in a phone only a tad bigger then my previous Pixel7Pro. I'm still looking for a way to use it day to day and haven't found that use yet. what are you using it for?

Ohhh you're talking about the S Pen. I thought my pal Spen was being recalled back to hell, not a good future aye. Phew close one.

I had to joking out of the way.

I hope it stays but Samsung has been on a historical rampage of pulling "a Google" these past few years. Arguably unpopular if not just bad decisions. Hopefully either a excavator digs their heads out the sand or a proctologist is called.

It's kind of like my pew pew, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I like the pen. I don't use it a lot but when I do I'm glad it's there and really is useful. Especially now that my screen protector doesn't need to be TPU anymore I've been using it more. The only thing I dont like (outside the 'no BT for you') is they didn't color match it.

I use mine most for magnifying, smart select, notes (obvs), precise copy paste, and translate. Outside of the now extinct Bluetooth features, it's mainly a precision tool for me. I love how easy it is to copy/paste from an article to Notes. Used with AI features, especially the object eraser, the precision is top notch.

I'd suggest watching a couple s pen videos. It's a powerful little thing and very handy when you learn everything it can do.

It was useless for me, thats why I switched to S24+ from S23 Ultra. I also tried to use it, but I was mostly forcing myself to use it, there is almost nothing that needs a pen that I cannot do with finger. Unless you draw or sign lots of docs, its useless

Granted most users don't really use the s pen that much, if at all.

But for those who do. It's perfectly understandable why they're upset with the newest Ultra. And may well stop them from getting the s25 ultra.

For them Samsung took away a very important feature.

I use it for signing PDF documents. I don't like automatic signatures. Doodling, shopping list, sketching and coloring (for relaxation). The previous S24U spen had Bluetooth so you could do gestures for a variety of things.
