Back when I got my OG Droid, I went through and added headshots to my friends and family so they would show up on the caller ID. There was a limitation to the allowable size (200x200?) and I went and cropped them to fit. Worked well enough on my OG Droid display.

Now, on my Nexus, the photo that comes up on the caller ID is almost full screen and the low resolution source files isn't holding up.

So, I'm going to go through a make a new set. I haven't been able to find what the best resolution is for the new caller ID images. What is everyone using now?

I had them at 300x300 for my DX, and they looked horrible on the Nexus when the contacts were first synced. I edited contacts (on the Nexus) and re-applied the very same thumbnail images, which I had transferred from my sdcard, and they look great. Not sure if 200 pixels is enough, but worth a try to just re-apply them before going to the effort of creating new ones. Hope this helps. Sure saved me a bunch of time.

How are you all re-applying them? I added the ones I have currently through gmail not by facebook and agree when people call the faces or images are severely distorted.

or you can just sync them from google+ and facebook instantly. works much better
