Google Fit accuracy

Hey

So after Google's most recent fit update I've noticed that the mileage counts on runs are off by large amounts (around 50 percent or so) google support being google support is useless as always I did all the basic troubleshooting steps to no avail. Kinda gauging to see if anyone on here has noticed issues with google fits accuracy?

I can't comment on the distance, but I did notice that Google Fit on my Misfit Vapor X seemed to be counting only half of my steps on a recent walk. However, the next day, I wore my Falster 2, and that was more accurate.

Did it accurately record your running path?

No my steps were about half what they should be too. Using a different app fixed the counting so it seems to be fit

Might be worth clearing the app cache/data for Fit and then letting it re-sync.
