Google gift cards problem

Hi guys and gals I purchased four 25 EUR Google play gift cards and every time I try to redeem them, I get the notification saying gift card already redeemed by someone else?? I'm 100% sure I didn't. I tried searching online and many people have the same problem as I do. Any known fix? Help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you buy the gift card from? If it wasn't from a well-established retailer, I'd say there's a decent chance you might have gotten scammed.

The only place I'd trust is the retailer's own website, or a physical card at a store.

Are you being charged full face value? If not, and some random person is selling them at less than full value (I.e. A $50 gift card for $30), then I'd be highly suspect of it being a scam. It's not that hard to make up a convincing story. "I got it as a birthday gift, but I don't shop at that store. I'm just looking to get something out of it and you get a great value buying it from me..."
