Google Maps and having directions play thru radio speakers on my '13 Ford F150

I would like when I use Google Maps that the directions play thru my truck speakers - I have my G3 connected to MS Sync via Bluetooth on my truck but what else do I need to do to make this happen?
I am sure that there is an easy way for this to work, I just can't seem to figure it out or find a thread talking about it

I think you have to keep your stereo in the truck on Bluetooth audio. If you are running the radio, CD player, satellite it won't give you directions through your truck speakers. Try playing some music from your phone to your truck using Bluetooth. Then start your navigation and see if the turns come through your stereo.

I think your car has to have AD2P bluetooth profile. For example in my seat leon, I can make/receive phone calls and access to the phone agenda but I cannot play media by bluetooth. I have to use a jack-to.jack cable to connect to the aux input in the stereo
