Google maps is extremely laggy on my note 4

It is September today and I have the same problem on my Meizu MX4. I used to think that it was problem with my phone or its firmware. But I found this topic today.
So, I noticed that I have lags only when I use walking navigation - not driving or transit. First 15 minutes it works fine and I turn on and off the screen every one minute. After 15 minutes lags begin.

There's a fix now. Use game tuner to reduce resolution by 75%
