Yes. For a long time, 5 years + probably, everyone I know has used WhatsApp.
As above, not just immediate family and friends but work colleagues across many countries. It just works regardless of device, service plan etc.
Yes, we get charged for mms here. Ironically up until a few days ago I couldn't have told you what that charge was. But fate intervened and my wife sent a picture to my son via mms by accident a couple of days ago. Cost £0.55 for a single picture. And the quality was terrible..
I don’t see the feature available on my Messages yet but find it interesting. I also feel it doesn’t really matter if Apple doesn’t adopt RCS. In my department most my coworkers do use android and most are Samsung’s so I look forward to see how well it works.
