Google Messages vs. Samsung Messages: What's your preference and why?

You have to start a chat and then LONG press the send arrow.

Finally got scheduled send feature in Android Messages.

Ahhhh, project manager.

Yes. For a long time, 5 years + probably, everyone I know has used WhatsApp.
As above, not just immediate family and friends but work colleagues across many countries. It just works regardless of device, service plan etc.

Yes, we get charged for mms here. Ironically up until a few days ago I couldn't have told you what that charge was. But fate intervened and my wife sent a picture to my son via mms by accident a couple of days ago. Cost £0.55 for a single picture. And the quality was terrible. .
That is criminal :O

The way I see it, until it's on all phones and all texting apps are able to do it, RCS is kind of weak... Doesn't matter much of only a couple people you know has it. It would be one thing if one massaging app works work with a different massaging app.

Let's face it, apple has this one and Android has a ways to go.

I don’t see the feature available on my Messages yet but find it interesting. I also feel it doesn’t really matter if Apple doesn’t adopt RCS. In my department most my coworkers do use android and most are Samsung’s so I look forward to see how well it works.

That's good news and that's been in the works for a while. Now my wife can stick w/samsung messages while I use Android/Google messages.
