Google Nexus 5 - Missed Calls, Anyone Else?

I think this bug affects several people. The problem is they would have no way to know unless the person leaves a voicemail. Kind of hard to know you missed a call when your phone has no history of it.

Not entirely true; When you get a call and you swipe to answer it will not answer thw call and freeze. You will have to reboot to make calls or work the device, and this you can not miss. This is a software bug that happens on all carriers when LTE is connected. I think the way the phones interacts with other radio bands is the problem, and it's handloing the hand off when answering calls.

This thread is interesting. I havent had any of these issues and i am on T-Mobile as some others here are.

I've never had a problem answering calls when the phone actually rings. I agree its definitely an issue with LTE being connected.

I am also having the issue! I am on t-mobile and I am missing calls from other t-mobile lines and international calls. I?ve tried searching for a number to report it to Google but have not been succesfull.. Anyone know where we can report this to Google?

I have called T-mobile twice and everything is good on their end. I have switched off LTE in hopes it stops the missed calls... Hope they come up some kind of permanent solution...

Does anyone knows if by going to a custom rom this issue might get solved. I've been reading all this threads and some people say that it stopped happening to them when they went to a different rom. I'm having this issues on both of my phones, they are both stock.

Since I updated to 4.42 I have not had this issue anymore am I the only one not having this issue anymore?

I haven't either, but I just got the update the other day and I usually would only catch the phone doing this about once a week.

Download the free app Any.do. It shows missed calls on the Nexus 5 screen.

I was too lazy to read the whole thread but this is a known problem with the radio. There are multiple threads here, Googles product support forums and XDA on this and several other radio problems. Google supposedly knows about it and is working towards a fix. Hopefully it will be included in the next update.

This just happened to me. I'm on Sprint and had Wi-Fi and data both turned off at the time.

Any chance we can get Phil or someone to right an article about this? Turn up the heat or something? It's pretty lame to keep this phone on 3G...I'm an IT guy on call 24\7 so I can't be missing calls.....

+1! We need some traction on this!

There are several articles pointing out a few relatively minor bugs, especially compared to the awful radio problems (dropped or missed calls, constantly dropping signal which causes terrible battery life and bad/inconsistent LTE coverage) but nothing covering this which is much more widespread.

FWIW, I had the same issue with both my and my wife's nexus 5. We were also getting text messages hours late - driving my wife crazy. Since it was happening on both phones, I decided to turn off the airrave in the house - and poof, everything worked fine.

I called Sprint, and there seemed to be some additional configuration needed on our Nexus 5's to work with the airrave. Once we did that we turned the airrave back on, and things seem to be working fine. I assume that the reason we were seeing it was b/c our phones were purchased through Google (thus 'unlocked').
