Google Nexus 5 - Missed Calls, Anyone Else?

I am having the exact same problem and so is my wife. We both switched 2 weeks ago and noticed the issue immediately. We get mysterious voicemails without missed calls. Last night my wife had 5 texts and 3 voicemails all come through at 1 in the morning after the phone found the network again. I have moved my phone back to 3g and it appears the problem has gone away. We use T-Mobile and I was considering changing because of this and other issues with them, however, now that I hear the issue is carrier agnostic I will not change. I will go ahead and put a ticket in with google as well, I already put 2 in with T-Mobile. I think our best bet of getting this fixed is to bombard google with tickets on the issue!!

Hmmmm I was having this issue too, Telstra Australia. New phone on the way due to another issue. Anyone tried another rom?

It happens to me and when it does I realize that the phone is locked onto LTE, when a call comes in it is supposed to switch to 1x. The fall back switching on the phone's software is probably the issue on Sprint.

I've had this happen once and I'm on AT&T. Although I rarely get any calls (more messaging than anything else), so it's not as concerning to me.

Did any one report it to google already ???

Disable LTE is no an option for me , LTE was one reason why i switch to N5 from N4

I haven't had any missed calls that I know of on sprint but my Cid just says unknown when someone calls me when on Lte. Very annoying.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using AC Forums mobile app

I finally got around to reporting it to Google, feel free to post on this thread so they are aware that this is happening to more people than myself.

I spoke with Google yesterday around 5:00 eastern time, and was told that it was a carrier network issue and not an issue on Google's end....

The problem is that this issue is being reported by all carrier users. Do a serach here on this and other forums Sprint AT&T TMobile are all complaining!

Absolutely.... I've been noticing the same thing. I'm pretty sure they've received several reports on this issue from people on all carriers...

You only need LTE really when surfing the web so why not disable it until that is being used. And all of you guys thhat keep saying that it is a Sprint CSFB issue aren't really on top of this issue at all. Every carrier that sells the phone has the issue so its more of a bug concerning LTE in my opinion. Here and on XDA forums people from every carrier has had this issue.

I don't have the issue, but what phone does your carrier think you have? I know for Att and T-Mobile they probably have it as something else and that could be the issue.
