I don't know AT&T's rules, but I'm pretty sure they will unlock it for you. I should say that Nexus phones have not been SIM locked in the past, so I'm just speculating.

If it is, and they don't, you can get an unlock code online for like $30.

Why not just get it from T-Mobile? They have it starting today.

Unfortunately that's 3am my time. I found out there's at least one store that will have some tomorrow. So if anything, I'll just stop by and pick up the 32gb.

Yeah I wouldn't have stayed up like that either.. would have been 2 am my time.... My 64 GB from Motorola rolled into the FedEx sort facility here in Dallas at 5 am this morning... Don't know if it's going to hit the truck for delivery today... FedEx manager has not allowed me to switch it to hold for pick up and I don't know why... The last time it did this and I called they told me they would hold it for pick up and then I showed up at the sort facility and it was on the truck...... now that it's here probably impossible to get it held now... if it goes "Out for delivery" here shortly I'll probably go work from home for a little bit until he shows up....

and Good luck at the stores today..... Should be interesting...

Has anyone confirmed whether it's sim locked or not? It's not branded, but if these are different skus, it very well could be.

It is past 10am on the East coast. Someone must have a T-Mobile Nexus by now.... Any T-Mobile branding on it?

How does this work? I'm with AT&T and was just going to get my phone from Tmobile because they have it soonest. Can I bring it to AT&T? Will I have to have it on Tmo for a certain amount of time? The person in the store I called yesterday claimed I have to use their network for 40 days before they unlock it.

Called a few Manhattan stores today. 3 weren't stocked, 1 was already sold out at 11:30am.

Ordered for overnight delivery tomorrow. 64gb was stocked out at Customer Care, FYI. Hate how they automatically added Jump.

It almost looks black except for the metal band around the edge..... I put the black Diztronic case on mine and there is a little of the so called midnight blue showing around the camera flash ring but you can't tell the difference between that blue and the black on the phone unless under a bright light and looking right at it (and probably knowing it's midnight blue.. if you didn't know the color you'd probably still think it's black)

Walked into local T-Mobile store this morning and picked one up. Put my Att card in and now enjoying it. I feel bad for those here that spend a lot of time ordering online and then not even getting it earlier than me. Though I was one of the first people to try ordering the day play store claimed to have it.

First impression is that its big. Definitely found the moto x more comfortable. But the nexus 6 still fits comfortably in my pocket, will be better for reading a lot because of the bigger screen, has wireless charging, a barometer, slightly brighter screen, and better camera (indoor shots look less noisy, but it may be different processing on the moto x built in app, i.e. less noise smoothing).

Umm where on earth did you get that information? It doesn't have T-Mobile branding and it isn't locked at all. You can pop any sim into it and it will work. If you pay the cost of the phone, T-Mobile couldn't care less what you do with the phone.
