Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

I think I'm sending mine back as well. I love it but not being able to do data and voice at the same time with no definite answer if/when Verizon will roll out voLTE and if a non Verizon phone will get the update. ?!?!? I want to use my unlimited data hot spot and be able to talk on the phone. This phone is ahead of the network. Guess that's why they're not selling it. Can't believe the turbo is in the same boat and they are selling them. Anyone have thoughts on my situation?

This is the reason why I never wanted to use Verizon. With LTE and cheaper 10gb plan then AT&T is why I chose them and like it so far

I'm getting the Turbo this weekend so that when my 6 comes I'll be able to compare the phones side by side.....This feature isn't that important to me, but I'm not surprised that it is to others.

Here are the phones that are already supported. I could not find a schedule for others:
Advanced Calling 1.0 – VoLTE – Verizon Wireless

Interesting that the Droid Maxx is up and running, along with Droid Mini. That would imply to me that it won't be too long for the Turbo.

OTOH, given VZW hasn't set a release for the N6, I can understand your concern. Maybe they will include the feature at the time of release. It would make sense, but not much they do seems consumer friendly.......

Finally found out when Verizon is going to come out with the Nexus 6.

Not good news but it's at least news.

Welcome to Android Central, and thanks for the update! Hopefully, the Verizonification of the phone doesn't cause issues like AT&T's.:-\

I wouldn't mind the logo on the back but I really hope they don't add all their VZ crap onto it as well. Maybe since they are making us wait so long the will just leave it alone.

Since they're making you wait, I'd actually guess that they are adding all of their VZW special sauce. They probably need the extra time to test it and make sure it doesn't break the device (like AT&T did).

Nexus 6 on Verizon

My upgrade is in March and I want to know if Verizon will be selling them at retail stores. I know that the nexus 6 will work with Verizon, and I'm looking at getting one for my upgrade.

Yes they are supposed to and even the nexus website says so but frayed out for now

Idk don't have a nexus 6 ...thought about it but staying with my note 4 . I personally prefer my phones naked either way. Spingen makes good ones it seems

The note 4 is a fantastic phone. I was thinking about selling my note 4 for a nexus 6 but it's to much trouble to get one to bother

I was having something worked out with verizon tech support, I asked him about n6 release.
He was pretty sure on mid first quarter

It's really frustrating. I actually don't mind waiting for verizon to take their time but at least give us some hint of when to expect the nexus 6
