If you rather not pay $500+ I'll just finance it with t-mobile Imo I rather pay off the phone specially with a 0% apr.

re: Is the Google Nexus 6 being delayed in the UK?

Do you know what time it will go up for preorder?

I am not sure. But I know where I will be at 12:00PST on the 29th. That will be 2am for me. I will stay up all night if I have to and check every top of the hour.

Re: Buy from Google or a dealer? Full price or finance?

I plan on financing mine through AT&T and using the money I had planned on buying the N6 with to pay off the financing on my wife's G2

I am going to Easy Pay my Sprint N6, sell my G3 and then use the cash to pay down the balance.

re: Is the Google Nexus 6 being delayed in the UK?

I've never bought a Nexus as yet - although this phone is seriously tempting me if funds possibly allow - but why should there be any delays in the first place?

You design a product, eventually decide on a launch date and ramp up production accordingly to meet the anticipated demand, and then on the supposedly BIG day its suddenly not available?

I well remember the disaster with the Nexus 4 here in the UK when it was available/unavailable like a yo-yo on the Store, and then with people literally having to wait for weeks for there order to be fulfilled.

Would this happen with Apple? No, so why cant Google get its act together with its manufacturer of choice to showcase Android on the Nexus range? Stinks of ineptitude to me, and if these reports are true then its not a great advertisement for the Nexus range moving in to the premium market to compete with Apple (and for reference I never have, and never will, purchase an Apple product).

Except that it kind of did happen with apple. The 6+ has been in and out of stock since it came out, and nearly impossible to find.

Well Apple has had stock issues with the iPhone before.... The iPhone 6 and 6+ have been in and out of stock a couple of times since launch... at the same time Apple is the only MFG for the iPhone.... Where as with Android you have a lot of options..... Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony.... and so on.... There is a lot of competition in the Android phone world.... Google has a number in mind... and they will place orders for and have built a certain number of devices for launch.... Better for business to under estimate than over estimate... Granted Google can afford to over estimate and have too many but for all intent and purposes making a habit of over estimating demand is bad for your long term business health.....

If demand far out paces production Google will adjust and ramp up production to meet that demand....

Stop it! He had a perfectly good argument and you had to go ruin it with facts. Why would you do that? Don't you know that facts aren't allowed when people are doing their ignorant bashing?

Google Nexus 6 Will Google server crash on preoder date (Oct. 29th)?

This is an inevitable discussion. It's well known in the past that Google server run into issues on launch date of Nexus phones, particularly the Nexus 4. I didn't order the Nexus 5 so I wasn't aware of how that went. My opinion is despite the higher cost of this Nexus 6, due to the hardware it will turn a lot of heads and there will be just as much demands as the N5 if not better.

At the sametime, this time Google have their phones being sold by carrriers, so it could offset the load.

So how do you think the launch will go this time and are you concerned about not getting your order through?

Yes. And at the same time no.

Re: Will Google server crash on preoder date (Oct. 29th)?

I know they had issues with the N4 but I don't think they had any issue with the N5.... I'd imagine demand for the N6 would be slightly less than the N5 because of the size of the N6 and the more premium price point....

Re: Will Google server crash on preoder date (Oct. 29th)?

That's what I'm concerned about. I have a feeling the 64gb blue will sell out quick. Any idea what time on the 29th? The good news is that there's plenty of options to get this phone.

If it become available AndroidCentral news section will notify it. You can also stay up at midnight and hit refresh endlessly.

October 29? Noooo.... It's not launching then, it's launching... umm... October 30th, yeah, that's the ticket! So make sure and spread the word so nobody's waiting online to order when it hits doesn't hit. Don't mind my stalking the order page a day early - I'll just be admiring the non-changing pixels and breaking in my F5 button in practice, not anticipation.
;)

Re: Canadians may not be able to pre-order on the 29th?

Telus has the Nexus 6 on their site under coming soon. My guess is that it is coming on the same day or close it. I only say that because when they put on the Moto X for sale, it was online as "coming soon" and was released a few weeks later.

I check the order page daily "Just in case" regardless of that October 30 preporder date.....
