I think that is the same time the nexus 9 pre-orders started.

Would be in line with when they launched the Nexus 5, as well (looked up my order, was flagged at 2:07pm est).

my Nexus 5 order is timestamped 2:05pm EST and i remember being pretty diligent that day.

What about pre-ordering from Best Buy. The only way I can afford this today, is through my Best Buy Card. Will this be an option? surely they wont limit it to just the Play Store..

I haven't been able to get a clear answer if best buy will host pre-orders or not. They did for the Nexus 9, why not the 6?

no - they don't want every schmo and their brother trying to order at the exact same time and crashing the system.

Which is very likey anyways once pre-orders go up and EVERY website/forum will announce the flood gates are open. I agree that why not just put up the time, is not like its a big secret?!? also SMH

They will probably ship for a delivery date of 11/12. I would be shocked by anything earlier since that is the date tmobile said it will be in stores.

That sounds about right. Is in line with the cases I've seen on Amazon for nexus 6, said it'll be ready to ship on 11/13 or 11/14

I just looked back at my Google Wallet transactions.. Mine was 1:21 central.... so 2:21 est... shipped that same night too (but I highly doubt the 6 is shipping this week)

Nov. 3 is the release date for Lollipop. I'm not sure where the 7th was rumored, but it's highly unlikely that Google would ship devices that far ahead of when carriers will be allowed to sell them. T-Mobile wouldn't delay it any longer than it needed to, and theirs is confirmed unlocked, unbloated, and available for sale on Nov. 12th. I'd expect shipments of Play devices to occur with coordination with whatever means of conveyance they select to arrange delivery on the 12th.

Preorders will put an authorization hold on funds from whatever payment method you select, but the sales transaction/funds transfer won't occur until shipment.

PayPal can't be used to purchase devices or accessories on Google Play or for other purchases that use Google Wallet outside of the Play Store.

Last year the N5 shipped from the play store about 10 days before you could buy them at T-Mobile or Sprint...... Different phone and different year but it's at least something to hold out for....

I ordered my N5 on October 31 and didn't get delivery until Monday (Darn you two day shipping on a Thursday) but Sprint at first wouldn't activate and told me because they wouldn't have the phone officially until that Friday which was 8 days after the play store sale started... and if I am not mistaken T-Mobile was the following week after Sprint......
