Re: Anyone cancel their order after reading reviews?

And deal with returning it.... No thanks... I'm dealing with it now with t-mobile and it's a pain

Not directly with moto. I returned a moto x that I received directly from them and it was a very easy process. They even paid for return shipping. Nothing out of pocket.

Re: Ars Technica: Nexus 6 Review - The “premium” price still comes with compromises

805 doesn't have ARM v8, this is not fixable via software.

OK, well that is unfortunate. I will cancel my preorders.

Do you know if the Moto X has the same unrepairable flaw?

Specially considering the Snapdragon 805 is the top of the line chip out right now.... The 808 and 810 that will support this probably won't be seen in mass production devices until the Spring of next year.....

We are out of inventory. Please check back soon.

The overall feeling is that the battery life is "meh" and that takes me out of the running for one

Software doesn't matter much....not going to change the camera picture quality enough to make people change their minds ...

Yes it will. Case in point z3 vs droid turbo. Same sensor, but completely different, and much better pics for the g3. Software makes a world of difference

That is, in a nutshell, what the tone of this whole damn thread has been like.

But it's not just slow loading times. Anandtech and Arstechnica reported poor performance in general.
"Apps took longer to launch, tasks took longer to switch, and sometimes—particularly during heavy multitasking—our Nexus 6 liked to get stuck and pause for a few minutes while it thought about things. It would often "chug" during our normal usage and in general felt like a slow device."

Yea, but I guess I don't get how other reviewers can be 360 and say it's "fast" and such and love it to death. But guess that's what happens what you get 10 reviews for the same thing :)

Thank you Android Central for putting ignore in your forums. Because for some... Douchebaggery never goes out of style.... Got my iSmooth screen protectors today. Getting my case in tomorrow. New Qi charger coming next week. Now for the phone... come to daddy

Thanks. I missed that review surprisingly. I've always liked Jon Rettinger's reviews.

Thank god I ordered white.

Haven't read them all, but Anandtech and Arstechnica's tests are far more in depth than something like AP or The Verge. I'd take their word over the others'.
