Using Open Office spreadsheet on Android all seems to work fine, unless I password it, if I download a password protected spreadsheet from Dropbox it does not recognized the password. I have tried opening a new OO spreadsheet in Android and when I put a password in, it says there has been an error. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using Quick Office in Google Play. It is the equivalent of Google Docs. Or their are others like Kingston or Docs to Go.

Many thanks rx
Sorry for the delay in answering I have only just noticed your reply. I have got over the problem when I found that Softmaker do an app for Android.

Great. As long as you found a workable solution
