I have been going through the same terrible delays and customer yank as you all after preordering the 32G Black Nexus 9 through Amazon on10/23. Thanks to whoever posted that the White model showed "available" at Amazon. After verifying, I contacted their customer service chat at about 11 am today and they walked me through cancelling my 32G Black order, and placing a new order for the 32G White (which I decided I liked better anyway for several reasons to include the fingerprint reviews). They provided overnight shipping guaranteed to arrive by tomorrow 11/6, 8pm. They also said they will be crediting me with a 15% refund ($72) for all my trouble as soon as shipped. He was super cool, even to the point of letting me pick my own refund. So I paid a total of $407 for mine. Probably a pipe dream and something's going to still go wrong. I just got notification it is shipping (though no tracking number just yet) so it's on its way! Feeling much better and Amazon has started to repair my broken heart. As far as the Nexus goes, I truly hope some of the reviews I've seen out there are nitpicking.
