Google Now talking back

I upgraded from a Motorola Droid. When I hit the Google search box and asked a question like "do I need an umbrella today" ... The phone would say out loud "Yes. There is a 60% chance of rain today with a high temperature of 70." On the GN3 it simply displays the weather card. How do I get the Note to verbally respond to my questions?

Hold down the main button, then select Google, the click the menu button for settings. Go to voice, then speech output, check always
