Google Play on my Nexus 7 will not download apps.

[Android Central Question]

It says "Error retrieving information from server. [DF-DFERH-01]". I've tried clearing the data and cache multiple times. I can't uninstall the updates because the "more" icon isn't at the top. My young daughter was playing with it. I wonder if she deleted a file or something. Is there a way to completely reinstall Google Play Store?

i think you can do it through a offline apk application. Other ways are reset device or update play store to latest version after adding a google account and connecting to Wi-Fi
