I compared those numbers with iPhone sales during the same period. I used 2012 because that is the earliest release year of these models. My goal posts have been in the same spot. When? In 1 quarter? 1 Year? Since 2007? Who knows? That picture shows no dates. What is an iDevice? Is it including iPhones? Macs? iPods? Who knows. It's a floating claim and can mean anything.

Which is what some people seem to keep doing on here...spamming out "facts" without giving specifics.

It could be argued that Apple needs the brand name recognition to compete with their chief rival, which is Samsung. Since some people on here are arguing that Samsung is not really a rival, sales figures are being brought up to support the argument.

These tangents really do occur for a reason. You can't just make up "facts" and not expect to have them challenged on a forum IMO.
