Google search no longer list my contacts

I use the Google search widget on my home screen, to find everything on my phone, apps. Contacts, etc.

Noticed yesterday contacts are no longer pulled up. Apps still show up, but no contacts. So now have to search the contacts app which is taking extra steps to get the job done.

Any ideas? Is this do to a glitched update?

Open the Google app, then tap More>Settings>General>Personal Results, and make sure Contacts is checked on.

Yep it's already checked

See what happens if you uninstall updates to the Google app temporarily.
