Hi all,

More of an annoyance, but phone search is not showing up anymore when I'm using my Google Search Widget. When I start typing, it used to show what apps or contacts were on the phone. It now only shows google's recommended search keywords.

I've already tried going to settings while in the search widget, but there aren't any options available like "phone search settings", there's only "Google Search" settings available.

I'd love to have the phone search feature back.... any suggestions? Does anyone else have the same issue or is it only me?

Carrier:Sprint
ModelNumber: Samsung SPH-D710
Androidversion: 4.04
Basebandversion: S710.10 S.FI27
Kernelversion: 3.0.15-1127689
Buildnumber: IMM76I.FI27

this is how it should look...but it only displays listings similar to the 1st and 3rd result....I want the application results also!

Found a fix to the Universal Search in the links below.

Article explains fixes for the S3 but I tried the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk fix on my S2 also and it hasn't bricked my phone....yet.

I didn't want to root my phone so just installed the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk, which means if I restart, i just have to reinstall the file.
