I can deal with vanilla. As long as it has clean lines and nice curves and is built well. I don't need my phone to win beauty pageants. I need it to do the things I want it to do quickly and efficiently. That is why I get Nexus devices. They were built to run the software it comes with seamlessly. I would rather a device that works, and works well, than one that looks pretty but is just OKAY at doing what I bought it to do... JM2C

Lots of choices but not really standing out for me yet. Waiting on more reviews of the new X but the really wishing the camera was better. Nexus to come out, but looks like it will be too big. Not a Samsung fan. HTC looks ok but rumors of the M9 now hitting.

Sticking with my 2013 X for now.

Someone in the Android Police comments also put the Nexus 6 render in to a cad program with other phones for size comparisons. The takeaway here is that if the Notes aren't too big for you, this shouldn't be, either.

yeah I saw that too... and a lot of bickering back and forth over how "Accurate" the Nexus 6 image was......... It's not that much bigger than the Note 3 or the iPhone 6 plus...

If the Nexus 6 render is accurate, that image is accurate. It certainly shouldn't be surprising that the Nexus might have smaller bezels than the Note. And 5.9 isn't much bigger than 5.7. Therefore we should expect the Nexus to be a little bit wider and only a tiny bit taller than the Note. Also, this image uses the Note 3, which is slightly shorter than the Note 4. Again, if the render is accurate, the Nexus 6 and Note 4 should be within 2mm of height of each other.

I think that picture makes the OnePlus look bigger because it pulls gray area along with it. If you try to ignore it, the Nexus 6 looks quite a bit wider.

After great consideration and almost pulling the trigger on a Moto X I've decided to wait on Shamu. I used an iPhone 6 Plus for a week without too many complaints about the size. When do we think this thing will go on sale? I remember the 5 last year went on sale around Halloween. Did it just show up randomly in the play store or did we know a date for certain last year?

What are odds that Moto will include wireless charging? That it's not included in the Moto X concerns me. Turbocharger is nice but I've gotten used to and really like the Qi charging in the Nexus 5.

The lack of wireless charging in the moto x was probably do to the different backs. Google should be calling the shots for the nexus I would be shocked if it didn't

We are now into October. I am hoping we get some kind of indication from Google on a release of this with Android L in the next week or so. Especially if the rumors of a release of this device is to be in early Nov. I realize it will probably be a normal nexus release with just a subtle press statement and just shows up on the Play Store. I am hoping for a flood of leaks, pics, and other goodies coming to an android specific site near you!!!!!!
