I haven't experienced that on mine. As I understand it, you can return the phone during the trial period for anything that makes you unsatisfied with your phone.

If anyone else know differently hopefully they will chime in...

Yes for refund or replacement...anything under the warranty is just replacement.

Just contacted Google Support and they said they would replace my device. The person I spoke with referred to them as "black dead pixels" so that is covered by warranty. If anyone else is experiencing that y'all should contact Google and get that take care of.
They did also give me the option of going to Verizon and getting it exchanged there but I don't wanna deal with them so I'm just sending my phone to Google and receiving a new one in 2 days.
