Google wallet error

Yup, same issue with added prepaid Google card. Money Network said access is down for LTEVO until the end of the week, from what I read in other threads/forums.

I had $10 on the Google card on my phone, then I swapped my phone and now it won't add "Google Prepaid Card"

Says

"Error adding Card
Try again later"

Interesting thing is when I rebooted the phone it asked me to "Accept" the Google Wallet Agreement again.. but got stuck on the error again. Looks like some issues still...

FWIW Now with the new version I get to the Terms of Service Agreement. When I select "I agree" it just sits there saying Activating account.......

I am having the EXACT same issues ... It's amazingly funny how Google, Sprint and HTC touts all these new features on the phone that simply doesn't work ... What's next Sprint?

Updated wallet from app store and now stuck on activating my account.

If we're lucky it may be working by tomorrow or Saturday.. but at this point, I'm not counting on it..

I had it activated, and the card with the $10 credit.. Sprint rep had me reset phone, and now stuck on the activating account mode.. <sigh>..

I am shocked there is no story on AC About this. I called Money Network and they confirm that the service to the HTC EVO 4G LTE has been "Suspended" and engineers are working to resolve. Although she could not provide an ETA, she did hint to "a few days". I just put 100.00 into Google Wallet 30 minutes prior to it crapping out on me, not happy.

I called Sprint and they were not aware of the issue.

It is great to have money said aside that I cant touch

Because up until this happened it worked VERY well at some of the places I go to daily.

Typically it will say PayPass. I use it at CVS and my local gas station.

Yup, although some future ones may say Google Wallet, as it is a Mastercard, it will work anywhere PayPass is accepted

Our Chevron has a "Google Wallet" advert sitting on the counter.. so it makes it easy to know.. didn't know about CVS until I saw it on here.

You can get the Master Card PayPass app from the market. It will show all local stores that accepts it

Is this still down? I can't get the Prepaid Google Card to work. I did make the mistake of rooting and flashing before I cleared my GW but I did not have anything setup besides just the security pin at that point.

Far as I know, still not working for EVO 4G LTEs. Not working on mine at least, and Google Wallet will supposedly send me an email when it's good to go again. Hasn't happened yet.

Anyone think this will ever work with rooted phones? Maybe a 50/50 split on which I may use more google wallet and root functions

It works with rooted phones, just have an error at the top of the screen.. Plus you'll need to clear wallet data before you do any flashing.

Rooted my phone about 10 minutes after I got home with my new phone and setup GW, and even with the error it worked...

I've since unrooted my phone (error messages drive me nuts), and am stuck with GW being down..

I had the same problem and the Google CSR walked me through resolving the problem.

Go to Google Wallet
Click on the horizontal ellipsis (...)
Go to Settings
Click on Reset Google Wallet

...Unfortunately, I can't remember if there was a step after that and am unwilling to click on it to find out as I do not wish to reset my own. However, it finally stopped giving me an error message after I did that and I was able to set it up.

Hopefully, this helps you and I have not responded to you in another post. I just thought I would try to help out my fellow EVO LTE users with the one thing I do know about this particular issue.
