Got Official KitKat Via Verizon Upgrade Assistant

My Klies or Verizon update assistant will not recognize that an update is available. Any ideas?

Everything is working fine on this end.

I solved the visual voice mail issue by disabling the app...I use Google Voice.

There was a credential error popping up for FoxFi. I just cleared all of the credentials and the error is gone.

I have a Gear Fit and I encountered a sync issue with the server. I had to log back in and update some security items.

I actually do not like the battery icon being white. Some of the other icons in the notification area have changed as well. Outlook mail doesn't have the red "@" in the bottom right corner. The mobile hotspot icon is all white now and the 4G arrows for up/down are all white as will.

My Visual Voicemail is working now.
This is what I did. Before clicking on the Visual Voicemail icon go into your regular voicemail by holding down 1 set up your voicemail again after you complete it click on the Visual voicemail icon and subscribe. After that it is working.

How did you disable voice mail? Turn off is grayed out for me. I also use Google Voice so I switched my voicemail to it from "my carrier" but that does not turn it off/disable it.

From your Apps drawer, long-press the VZ Voice Mail app. Drag it to the top of the screen and to the little trash can called "disable app." It should now be listed in the "turned off" apps list in the App Manager.

Just tried installing again..This time in Kies 3..no luck just as with Verizon upgrade assistant. .Both said I'm up to date with 4.3.
The Kies 3 updated to a new 3.2 today..though at first good news..they must have fixed something with new version dated 5/13. At least I backed up phone.

Yes, I'm hoping this too. When I'm driving and stop or drop below 5 mph the arrow starts pointing in all different directions. Walking directions are useless. Any info on this would be appreciated.

I got it via Kies. And hcane...it looked the same but after Kies updates I went to "about phone" on the device and there it said the update was available while still not showing on Kies. I don't really see any difference except the icons and now having visual voicemail for "free" though the terms still call it a trial. I don't need it so if it does start charging I'll just cancel it I guess. Might be other changes I don't see but I use Nova Launcher. Never had maps/compass problems.

i just my update notification OTA...I tried to update this morning via verizon and it said 4.3 was up to date...sat doen this after noon and saw ota update was available...will see how it goes...in ohio, i don't know if it matters but someone always asks.

I updated and now the Voice Mail is available keeps popping up. I use Youmail and want the Voice Mail app to stop. Any ideas ?

Problem I've had is: When I'm driving and stop or drop below 5 mph the arrow starts pointing in all different directions. Walking directions are useless because the arrow points all over the place. Searching the internet some suggest shaking the phone which actually works temporarily, reinstalling Google Maps which also seems to work temporarily. You can see how bad it is by using the app "GPS Status & Toolbox" it shows the compass, true North and Magnetic North and you see how wrong and unstable the compass is.

That's right, everybody should be getting the OTA right now. Just installed mine and it only took 10 minutes to install! Just wish there was a change log to see what is new.

Ok...read where people just hit the Ota update ...just did it..downloaded nicely. .took total of 8 minutes start to finish...battery icon white...wifi all white now..no more orange & green arrows
So far everything working. All so easy after trying several times to download it with pcp using both options. .Verizon & Kies 3
OTA UP DATE works beautiful and fast
